How to use the Kindle in Australia
What you’ll need
- One iPhone/iPod Touch
- An Australian Credit Card
- Two Email Addresses, one for your Amazon account, one for your Kindle account.
Step 1.
Sign up to the US iTunes (you can do this without a credit card), create an account and download the new free iPhone Kindle app.
Step 2.
Sign up on Amazon with your Kindle email address and then sign into the Kindle app with it. Log out of Amazon.
Step 3.
Sign up to Amazon with your Amazon email address, buy a gift voucher for the Kindle email address. Log out of Amazon.
Step 4.
Log in to Amazon using your Kindle email address. Redeem the gift voucher code and marvel at your account balance.
Step 5.
Find a book you want, find the Kindle version and send it to your iPhone.
Step 6.
Laugh at geographic restrictions.
